The Challenge: To design a route the incorpotated both normal roads and an off-road section to allow testing of the new Toyota LandCruisers' off road ability. The off-road section was not present on any traditional sat nav system and consisted of a 5 km route with some steep descents and extremely hazardous rock sections.

Our Approach: Five weeks prior to the event we mapped the chosen route and conducted all of the back at base programming as well as product script/safety message recordings. Our equipment was ruggedised with the use of a bespoke foam insert and was strapped down to the vehicle to prevent movement during the off-road section.

The result: This event was 6 weeks long and over 500 delegates covered in excess of 5000km's with no major issues and no accidents. Our equipment suffered no failures even when subjected to the off-road section day after day.
